My Emoji Journal

An important part of self regulation is realizing that you can shape your emotions, they do not have to shape you. This is a conversation that I am currently having at home with my own boys and it hit me that EMOJI's would be the perfect way to help intro this idea to them through journaling. In this journal kids can draw how the currently feel and how they want to feel. Then we will work together to brainstorm things you can do to change your feelings. (ie. read something that makes you laugh, find something you are grateful for, breathe deeply, call a friend)
